Below is a list of our 2018 Connecticut Golf Show main stage speakers, with more to be added as new speakers sign on. Schedule is subject to change, so check back frequently to ensure you don’t miss the presenters you’re most excited to see!

George Connor

George was the 2000 and 2011 Connecticut Section PGA Teacher of the Year, a Certified Aimpoint Instructor, a Certified Instructor for the SeeMore Putting Institute and has been rated on of the top Instructors by Golfing Magazine and Golf Digest. An instructor and coach for over 20 years George’s simple approach to the sport accommodates the individuals physical ability and skill level. George’s students include State Amateur Champions, Collegiate players as well as beginners. 2000 Connecticut Section PGA Teacher of the Year; Golf Magazine listed George as one of the top Instructors in the Northeast; Golf Digest has rated George as one of the Top Instructors in Connecticut; PGA of America Specialty Certification in Teaching; Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.

Dave Souza

Dave Souza is the Owner and Center Manager of the GolfTEC West Hartford Training Center. Dave has been coaching with GolfTEC for over seven years in the Boston area and has taught over 7,000 lessons. He truly believes in the GolfTEC process for improvement, which focuses on measurable, fact-based changes to the golf swing. By utilizing the latest motion-measurement technology, he can teach golfers of all levels how to achieve their personal goals the fastest. The results are consistent: students are more confident on the course and play better golf. GolfTEC has recently released the findings of the most comprehensive big data study on the golf swing ever done, called SwingTRU. Dave will discuss the benefits of the SwingTRU study in his presentation, helping golfers learn what really makes the great players great.​

Dr. Christian Reilly

During his undergraduate studies at Ithaca College, Dr. Christian Reilly was intrigued with chiropractic philosophy. After receiving his B.S. in biology, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, Iowa) and graduated with honors in 2002. Dr. Christian began serving as a chiropractor in Glastonbury in 2004, and in 2008 expanded his practice to serve as a chiropractor within the Rocky Hill community. Dr. Christian founded Chiromark with a mission to provide results-driven service and life-changing education to clients through precise chiropractic diagnosis and focused, effective chiropractic adjustments. His dedication to caring for patients with effective, gentle adjustments has resulted in his practice earning numerous “Best Chiropractor of Glastonbury” and “Best Chiropractor of Rocky Hill” Awards. More importantly, it has earned him the satisfaction of knowing that he truly improves the health and happiness of families. Dr. Christian is passionate about helping even the biggest skeptics become clients through convenient, natural therapies that allow clients to reach their fullest potential.

Dr. Michelle Reynolds, Ph.D

Dr. Michelle Reynolds, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in the state of Connecticut. She has a passion for helping people integrate healthy lifestyle choices across all aspects of life, using a holistic model to help clients flourish. She earned her doctorate in clinical health psychology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, and has worked in the mental health field since 1995 in diverse settings including hospitals, mental health clinics, home-based services and private practice. Her training as a scientist-practitioner guides her use of empirically based treatments in her coaching practice. She has assisted in conducting various research studies and taught university courses in psychology as an adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University and Fairfield University. Dr. Reynolds is an expert coach for executives and individuals aspiring to reach their peak performance objectives. She utilizes positive psychology strategies to promote well-being and growth, and improve the quality of life in her clients. Using a strengths-based model, Dr. Reynolds enables clients to maximize the positive traits that they already possess. Her compassionate and non-judgmental nature, combined with warmth and humor, help to increase client accountability in a non-threatening way.  

Dr. Kristine Schlichting, Ph.D

Dr. Kristine Schlichting, Ph.D., is an innovator, entrepreneur, author and change agent fusing together the principles of psychology, organizational behavior, coaching and wellness. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Connecticut and earned her doctorate in psychology from the University of Connecticut. She also received specialized training in both Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy during her masters’ degree training at the University of Wisconsin. She is the director of her group practice in Glastonbury, Conn.; CEO of Hopewell Peak Performance (her coaching and consulting company) and CEO of Hopewell Technology (a digital technology corporation). Dr. Schlichting has conducted research in the areas of anxiety, peak performance, and video self-modeling with sports teams. Her innovative research has been published in various articles and books. Dr. Schlichting applies her methods to her coaching work at Hopewell Peak Performance, where she travels throughout New England providing consultation, seminars and trainings for conferences, medical offices, schools, and corporations. Her trainings are multi-media, interactive, and goal-focused, and all content is directed towards efficient and relevant implementation. Active change is created through dynamic engagement, creating supportive networks for communication and connection, and motivating people to take charge of their own lives. Through her concierge clinical work with executives throughout the country, Dr. Schlichting has been named as a top provider by the Health Network Foundation, a private organization aimed at connecting CEOs and business leaders with exceptional medical providers. Dr. K is a fierce advocate committed to helping all people reach their fullest potential.  

Chris Polidoro

Christopher Polidoro teaches golf instruction at Cranwell Spa & Golf Resort in the Berkshires. A class A PGA member, Chris is also a Callaway Golf staff member and certified Callaway club fitter. Along with his work at Cranwell, Chris has worked at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., where he taught and conducted instructional clinics. Through his teaching experience, Chris has worked with students of all ages and genders. He is an accomplished competitive player, have played collegiately at MCLA and in numerous high-level tournaments. Chris was born, raised and educated in Pittsfield, Mass., and attended Pittsfield High School, where he played golf and works currently as the head golf coach.

The First Tee of Connecticut

The First Tee of Connecticut is a youth development non-profit organization that impacts the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Through programs at 22 outdoor locations, in 157 schools and in partnership with local youth service agencies, we reach over 74,000 young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. We offer group lessons, team play, summer camps and girls golf events, plus access to scholarships and national opportunities. On Saturday — Kids and Family Day — join us at the main stage at 11:15 a.m. to meet a few of our outstanding participants and coaches in an interactive session! And, stop by our booth throughout the show to learn more about our programs and our locations across the state, including our facility and learning links in Cromwell, adjacent to the TPC River Highlands.
